Everything's Copacetic

Seth's grandpa passed away a few weeks ago--Papa Katapodis.  What a special, happy man!  I am grateful I had the opportunity to meet him on several different occasions.  He had such a sense of humor and the most delightful way of talking.  He was Greek and immigrated to America with his mother (Eleni's namesake--she was named Eleni in Greece, but she changed it to Helen when she arrived in the States) when he was a teenager.  One of the tender mercies that coincided with our family trip to California was the fact that his funeral took place right in the middle of it, so we were all able to be there.  As Papa would have said, everything was just copacetic.

Seth's siblings and Katapodis cousins: Sarah, Krista, Alex, Erik, Brian, Seth, Vance, Kari, and Shawn.  Seth's cousins are so kind!  We don't get to see them very often, so it was nice to have a chance to visit and catch up.

And then my kids, joined by Madeline, Erik's daughter, and cousin Austin.

I'm so glad you were there. What a blessing for your Grandma. That photo of all the cousins looks like they were posing for Vogue magazine or something.
