Eleni was so excited to find that a friend had given us a bag with matching shirts for her and Evie! They are good little friends.
So are Gabe and Evie--friends of a different sort. He can make her chuckle, and he loves her so much that he kisses her "to death," the kids call it. He just can't seem to restrain himself, and you can't really blame him. She's a precious little doll.
Jacob & Eleni were lucky enough to be on the same soccer team this year--it was such a riot to watch them play together! They couldn't be more different! Jacob was all about the rules, scoring goals, and playing hard. On the other hand, after an amazing first game where she scored goals and put her heart and soul into fighting for the ball, Eleni decided she liked being goalie. She simply ran out of steam for anything else. They were never competitive with each other, and Jacob would pray that Eleni would make a goal each game.
Lydia played as well--I think her team won every game. She's trying to discover which sport is her favorite. We're all going to give Softball/T-ball a try next week. I am working on developing a better attitude about being a sports mom. It's really so good for them, and it doesn't kill me to go to a few games.
Jacob and his buddy Max, pretending to be Jedi's. These two are pretty strange when they get together, but they just understand each other perfectly--they speak some strange language they call "funny talk" and they play Star Wars--literally, like this, or Star Wars legos, toys, you name it. Jacob is going to miss Max!
Thanks to Max's mom, Callee, for making these awesome robes, and bless you, Aunt Choody, for giving Jacob & Gabe these awesome light saber belts--Jacob is already planning on being a Jedi for Halloween.

That last shot is disturbing with the shadow casting across his face, making him resemble the evil emperor bad guy. :)
I might add that your big eye looking up at the evil emperor is also somewhat alarming, Lyd. Too funny!
Does your friend have a pattern for those robes? My other grandson would love one!
