You may be wondering why Evie is wearing a hand brace.  No, she doesn't have carpal tunnel--she's just following in the footsteps of her older siblings, who have been using Seth's & my carpal tunnel braces to play Quidditch. . . .
Evie is such a little person of her own--she only gives "loves" on her own terms.  Here's Lydia trying to cuddle and lay on the floor by Evie, and she gets a tweak on the nose for it.  Typical Evie!
0If you ask her for a kiss, she actually leans away from you.
But she knows letting Lydia hug her is the lesser of the 2 evils in this situation . . . Bless his heart, Gabe can't keep away from her no matter how hard he tries.
Completely unrelated, I just wanted to insert here how wonderful it has been to have our Daddy with us more!  Since we moved, Seth has had a reprieve from church duties, plus it's summer break, and there's not much work to be done on a new house.  He's also getting very near to completing his Doctorate, which will be WONDERFUL.  Consequently, Daddy gets to come to church with us, and he's here more often when the kids go to bed.  We haven't heard him play the guitar much for a few years, and now the kids love to fall asleep to the sound..  (I was able to sneak this picture because he was preoccupied with playing. :)

Your kids play quidditch?! How cool is that? And it sounds like Evie and Ezra will get along well. You pretty much have to pay him to get hugs.

We are happy that Seth is relaxing at long last.
